They were also encouraged to create an identity for their contestants (either an egg, a piece of soft fruit or a chocolate bar) and a 'back story' to catch the interest of the other students and the public about the worthiness of their contestants.
The results are fantastic! I am sure you will be amazed and amused by the antics of these characters and may even look at your nectarine, egg, muffin or chocolate bar with a little more respect in the future!

My contestant is an egg named Barbie. She is a member of the AFFT (A.K.A Armed forces of Fairy Topia). Defending her tiny island from the horribly feared giant pandas, Barbie is clued up and quick in the face of danger. She also has strengths that will help her conquer this competition. Flower climbing, leprechaun shooting and EXTREME tea party organising!
Barbie doesn't crack under pressure and she will do anything to win, and prove herself to all of Fairy Topia. Then she can return as Queen, feared by all on the island, (except her best friends Juanita and Tiffany- OMG!)
Unfortunately, Barbie died tragically on Wednesday 17 March after a challenge issued by Adele went horribly wrong, it turns out that it is not scientifically impossible to squeeze an egg so hard that it cracks...

My contestant is also an egg. Her name is Shelly. Her hobby is egg and spoon racing. Shelly sells tacos on the streets of Yolkom. Being one of the least popular taco stalls, she lives a very poor life. She is here now to prove that she has what it takes to be a true champion! And no, none of you are getting free tacos!!!
Disclaimer: No one forced barbie to undergo the experiment. I had no idea it would end in such a tragedy...

Mr Luigi came from a place called THE FRIDGE. Out of all the other eggs in the fridge he was the only one who didn't chicken out. He will not tell us about his previous life or his family but he is still known throughout the fridge as the bravest of the brave-as he shall be known as forever.

Hi im Eddie Eglow.I was born and raised in New Yoke im 17 egg years old By day im a normal teenage kid but by night im Eggman. How eggman got his powers is unknown. I was just walking down the street on my way home when… Blank. I woke up the next mourning safe in my house having no idea what happened. Weird things happened. I got buff, I ran faster than anyone, I could leap further, jump higher and even get the lowest in limbo! Then I could fly! But before all this I was simple Eddie Eglow besides the fact I had an uncle who was the most wanted man in the world. He robbed more people than I can count! And my untie June helped him every step of the way. Then one day it all change. I told my uncle that I was going to wrestle to get some money for a car. My uncle said” The reason need a car is for the Jane- Mary girl next door! How I hate her!!! She is always mean to you. That’s why you need that car……… so you can run her over!
I didn’t like that idea at all but I didn’t dare argue. i told him I was going to wrestle but really I was going to the library to study for my final exams. My uncle would kill me if he knew I was going to college! “ What you need to go to collage for? Money is rightfully yours you don’t need to work for it you just need to get it!” he would say. Then the worst thing happened! I walked out of the library to find people crowding round a dead man. “What happened officer?” I said to a man in a smart blue uniform.” This old guy tried to steal this mans car so I shot him! Then we found out he had stolen some money from the bank! $100,000 dollars! If this man didn’t die he would be off to jail!” “ Why did you shoot him? You could off just arrest him.” I asked. “ Couldn’t,” said the man “he was shooting at me, if I didn’t get him first we would have a lot of dead or injured civilians.” I thought I would go see this troublemaker. As I finally managed to make it through the crowd I gasped in horror as I saw the limp body of my uncle. I ran home this was so bad!
The funeral was the next week Aunty June was devastated. As I walked home in the pouring rain I remembered his words” just be quiet and eat Eddie!”……….. Wait! Wrong words “ with great responsibility comes power! So grab it!” that’s right I thought! So I got busy. I made a costume, worked out and made up my name Eggman! “I decided I would use my powers for…………………evil!!! I was going to take over the world!! There was one thing in my way…Spiderman!! He thinks he is so great! But he doesn’t know my master plan!! I will…” “ Eddie! Are you ok?” said June.” Yes aunty June!” I sighed. “ Are you talking to that darn camera of yours again!?” she yelled. ‘ No aunty June.” I said. “ Do you need anything to eat?” she asked. “No aunty June. Im busy! “ I moaned. “ ok!” she said.
“Now where was I? Oh yes! I will take over the world!!!!! But first I need to complete and pass these obstacles to get to the white house! Where I will to brainwash the president and control everyone in the world! Mahwah haa haaa!! “ “Eddie what are you doing down there!” yelled aunty June. “ “Nothing!” I groaned.

Name of Contestant: Chocory Dimlok
Life Story: Chocory was happily soaking in the sun, talking to his mother in Ghana one day, when all of a sudden this hand reached out and grabbed Chocory and his mother and put them in a big bin full of other Chocotarians.
Later, they were tipped out to what Chocory's moher said was the 'drying tray'. When they were all dry, they were sorted into groups and because Chocory was a healthy young man and his mother was a frail, old lady, they got split up. Chocory got sent to Cadbury's and his mother (from what he heard from the other Chocotarians) was sent to Whittakers. Even though now they are rivals, Chocory is looking for his mother and hopes this show will help him to find her!
